Public Beta is coming soon!

What's ahead for Foto in August 2024

We are excited to announce that Public Beta is almost here! Many of you have been patient and eagerly waiting to join Foto, and we’ll be opening our doors to more people than ever before.

Here’s what you need to know ahead of time.

• Public Beta will be free to join.

• We’ll be accepting up to 9,000 more Android Users

• We’ll be accepting up to 4,500 more Apple Users.

• Public Beta is for everyone.

• When Public Beta launches, we’ll send the link to join, and we encourage you to share that link with your friends, family, and online audience.

Before we launch Public Beta, we need to accomplish the following.

1. Launch the upcoming ‘Mentions’ feature

2. Fix some more bugs

3. Set up Foto on Google Play for Public Beta testing

4. Get approved by Apple for Public Beta testing

Once we complete these four things, we will announce the Public Beta launch date.

If everything goes as planned, we aim to launch Public Beta in 2-3 weeks.

As a reminder, Foto will still be in Beta when we open the doors to Public Beta in a few weeks.

Foto will still have some bugs and features that are missing during Public Beta.

The purpose of Public Beta is to stress test the app by quadrupling our user count. This 4x’ing of the community will help us see how efficient our code is concerning our cloud computing bill and if new bugs are found/created.

Foto is 100% community-supported & Public Beta is the next step in our journey together.
