Hello! 👋

My name is Michael Howard, and I’m the CEO of Foto. Welcome to Foto Land.

I’m still working on what to call this place. Foto Land? Is it the Foto Newsletter? Maybe Foto Journal? Perhaps Foto Notes? 🤷🏼‍♂️

The name isn’t important for now. What is important is that you are here and you are interested in what we are building. Thank you for making time to be here and to connect with us.

I will be launching the Foto Podcast soon. More info on that to come.

We are in the development phase of the first version of the Foto app. We hope to launch it in 2023. Social Media as we know it feels like it is starting to fall apart or it’s mostly video based.

We feel there is a need for an image-centric platform that leans all the way in and doesn’t try to be the master of everything. Building an application and economy around images has enough problems to solve that we don’t need to add more complexity.

Soon, I’ll write more about our vision for Foto and some of the problems we are trying to solve. In the meantime, feel free to introduce yourself.
