Round 2 of Private Beta is Closing
Foto Private Beta will close at 11:59 pm CST on March 6th
We are closing this 2nd Round of Private Beta for Foto tonight at 11:59 pm CST.
It’s been a very encouraging week for us at Foto. We’ve onboarded almost 2,000 more users, and the feedback has been very positive overall. This Private Beta round featured many more features and improvements than our first round back in September 2023. The energy and vibrancy of the Foto Community have gained more momentum these last six days.
We have gotten a lot of confirmation from many of the new people on Foto that we are headed in the right direction. The desire for a photo-centric social platform is genuine and needed. It’s easy to get so focused on building something that you start doubting if what you are making will work. These past six days have done nothing but fuel us to keep building and pushing even more.
That said, it is almost time for us to shut the door on this Private Beta round. We likely will not be opening Foto up to anyone else until we launch publicly later this year, so if you want to be part of the Foto Community, now is your time.

After midnight CST tonight, we will not be adding anyone else, and we will be focused on getting Foto ready for public launch.
The next prominent feature we will build into Foto is a way to search by categories and tags. We strongly believe that a powerful search engine is the key to making Foto a unique platform to which no other social app is genuinely dedicated.
