Hey everyone!
This weekend, we started our 2nd round of Private Alpha testing. We’ve added a handful of people to help get some fresh eyes on Foto and to collect their feedback.
We’ve gotten Foto onto Android and Apple phones to test both operating systems. There are some additional bugs we’ve discovered, and there are some minor updates we need to make this week. The other thing we will work on this week is ensuring we aren’t missing any requirements from Google or Apple regarding approval for Private Beta testing.
The great news is that we will release Private Beta within 10-17 days.
Foto will not be perfect when we launch Private Beta. It will launch with known bugs and missing features, but we believe it is crucial to start getting feedback from all our Private Beta users. We don’t want to delay getting into Private Beta any longer.
We will email everyone on our Private Beta list within the next 48 hours to prepare them for the Private Beta release.
If you are not yet on our Private Beta List, you can do so at https://fotoapp.co/beta
Our goal for Private Beta is to help us find software bugs, get feedback on what you like and think is missing, and help us solidify the Foto foundation before we move on to a more public release.
Thank you for being so patient with Foto! Communication will be more frequent as we ramp up for Private Beta.
Cheers,
Michael Howard
CEO of Foto
