Details on the next round of Foto Private Beta

Hello Everyone!

We are delighted to announce that this week marks the reopening of Foto for new people to join. In a departure from our initial Private Beta session conducted in September 2023, we are implementing an extended enrollment window.

New people can join Foto starting at 9 AM CST on Wednesday, February 28th. Over the following two weeks, we will welcome new members to Foto, concluding this open phase on Wednesday, March 6th.

During our launch in September, we were thrilled to see the social sharing of screenshots and videos from our users exploring Foto for the first time. In light of this, we are offering an extended window for members to share their experiences and invite others to join the Foto community before we conclude this open period.

It is important to note that we will closely monitor the influx of new members during the Private Beta, mindful of the capacity constraints imposed by Google and Apple. Should we reach the maximum number of participants permitted for the Beta, we may need to prematurely end the enrollment phase.

How to Join Foto

For those interested in joining our Private Beta or sharing it with friends, we kindly request a one-time donation of $5 at fotoapp.co/beta.

This contribution assists us in managing our cloud infrastructure expenses and legal costs during Foto's foundational stages.

In appreciation of your support, each donor will be rewarded with a complimentary one-year subscription to Foto Pro upon its official release.

What to Expect

On Wednesday, February 28th, at 9 am CST, I will email everyone on our 2nd Private Beta List, providing installation links for Foto on both Android and Apple devices.

Please be aware that Foto is currently in its Private Beta phase. As such, you may encounter bugs and certain aspects that may not be fully polished. Rest assured, we are dedicated to refining these edges in the upcoming 2-3 months.

Currently, we are at 50% capacity for our Private Beta list, which means we have space for approximately 3,000 additional members to join us in the next two weeks. After this period, we will stop sending out Private Beta invitations and focus on enhancing the experience for all our existing users over the following six months.
